Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of the GradeQuill website and the academic writing and editing services we provide. By submitting an order or making a payment, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Nature of the service

GradeQuill provides academic writing, editing, proofreading, referencing, and related support services. All work is produced as a reference or model document intended to assist you in developing your own academic skills and understanding. You are responsible for how you use any work produced for you, and for ensuring that your use complies with your institution's academic integrity policies.

Ordering and confirmation

An order is confirmed once we have received your brief, agreed the requirements and price with you personally, and received any required advance payment. We will not begin work until all details have been agreed. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

Payment

Payment terms are agreed personally for each order. We typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due on delivery. Payment methods are communicated to you directly. All prices quoted are final and inclusive of the agreed scope of work.

Revisions

Every order includes one round of revisions at no additional cost, provided the revision request is consistent with the original brief. Revisions that represent a change of brief or significant additional work may be charged separately. Revision requests must be submitted within seven days of delivery.

Deadlines and delivery

We commit to delivering completed work by the deadline agreed at the time of order. If circumstances beyond our control prevent timely delivery, we will notify you as early as possible and agree an alternative arrangement. We are not liable for delays caused by incomplete or late provision of briefs or materials by the client.

Refunds

If work is not delivered by the agreed deadline and no alternative arrangement has been made, you are entitled to a full refund of any amount paid. Refunds are not available where work has been delivered in accordance with the agreed brief and the client has subsequently changed their requirements. Disputes regarding quality should be raised within seven days of delivery.

Intellectual property

Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the completed work transfers to you. We retain no rights to use, publish, or distribute your work. We ask that you do not share completed work publicly in a way that could constitute a data breach of your personal details.

Confidentiality

We treat all client information and documents with complete confidentiality, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We do not share client details or work with any third party.

Limitation of liability

GradeQuill's liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount paid by the client for that order. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or academic outcomes arising from the use of our services.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
